It was such a pleasure to make this 3D carved Violin cake for a little girls fifth birthday. Her mom even dropped off her own violin for reference, which was such a wonderful treat. Because it was for a little girls birthday, I put the violin on a light teal and purple marbled board.

The only part on this cake that isn’t edible are the strings. I made them using embroidery thread.
